Looking for “The AR Roundup: October 2020”? — click here.

Every month, since November 2017, I round up the latest news in augmented reality including a look at activity in hardware, software, funding and the latest stats as part of a series now called “The AR Roundup”.

The activity in augmented reality has intensified over the past few months and while I have been curating my Roundups so that it is as easy as possible to digest, to really reflect what is happening in this space I am finding myself hitting the character limits of Medium. (BTW this is a GREAT problem for AR because it means that there is so much happening to make AR an every day reality!).

To enable longer posts and to unlock a subscription feature to make it easier for you to be notified when a new post is ready to read, I have moved my regular monthly AR Roundup (and future blog posts) over to Linked via their blogging platform LinkedIn Pulse. You can catch up on what happened in October 2020 using the link below.

The AR Roundup newsletter will begin in November. Follow me on LinkedIn to be notified to subscribe. I am also preparing my annual Reality Check post which will look back at my 2020 Trends to see how they actually played out which will be followed by my annual Trends and Outlook piece for 2021.

A huge thank you to the readers of this and all most posts! Your feedback and energy combined with my undying passion for AR is what fuels me to put these posts together. And a huge thank you to everyone working in the AR/VR space — keep building the future, because the future is now and it is awesome.
